How does MEChA work with other student groups on campus?
MEChAs struggles are also the struggles of minorities, of laborers, of queer society, and of other marginalized groups. We consider it imperative to cooperate with groups like SEAS and SCPJ in the Stanford Labor Action Coalition (SLAC), and AASA, the BSU, PASU, SAIO, and the LGBT CRC in the Students of Color Coalition (SOCC). MEChA, of course, often collaborates with other Chicano groups on campus. This cooperation creates a unique environment of familia at Stanford.
