How does MiST compare to sprays and foams?
The MiST delivery system is superior to sprays and foams. The MiST nano-droplets are 1/50th the size of an aerosol droplet and remain airborne longer. These nano-droplets travel throughout the HVAC system and passenger cabin surfaces. Aerosol droplets are much larger and fall out of the air and just don’t penetrate all areas of the HVAC system. Aerosols are wet and can damage interior fabrics and surfaces. Foam treatments require a significant amount of labor and only work on areas it can reach within the HVAC system. They are ineffective at eliminating the problem in the passenger cabin.
