How does mitosis differ between plant and animal cells?

0

The major difference between plant and animal mitosis occurs during cytokinesis. Cytokinesis isn’t technically part of mitosis, but is a separate process required for the daughter cells to separate (it begins at the same time as telekinesis). In animal cells, a cleavage furrow forms (the cell pinches) and the two daughter cells pull apart. However, in plant cells, a cell plate forms which develops into a cell wall creating two daughter cells in this way. I did a little research and found a few more minor differences at this website: http://www.madsci.org/posts/archives/200… Hope this helps!
