How does MRI conduct the Teenmark fieldwork?
During the personal interview for the adult (18+) study, MRI asks the name and age of all individuals in the household. After the conclusion of the adult fieldwork, MRI mails a questionnaire directly to all teenagers identified in the 4 waves which make up the Doublebase study. Included in the questionnaire are all the media, product usage and psychographic questions that MRI reports in the Teenmark study; there is no personal interview for the teens. MRI reports the data points in common between the past two questionnaires (this year’s and last years), producing a four-wave teen recontact study.
