How does my graduation affect my Facebook account?
Your ability to use Facebook to network with other UT Austin students will expire, along with your university e-mail, six months after graduation. Before graduating, you may want to change your e-mail address within the Facebook settings to another carrier, such as Hotmail, Yahoo, or Gmail. You may also decide to use an alumni e-mail address, such as one from Texas Exes. However, this does not allow you to network with currently enrolled students at the university. What about my Microsoft software? If you are using Microsoft software obtained through the Microsoft Campus Agreement, your current software license will convert to a perpetual license upon graduation. This means you will then own the software that you are currently leasing.
