How does not eating enough food affect the body?
Your body goes into something called a starvation mode; this is where your metabolism slows down drastically to preserve energy and fat in the body. You’ll feel quite tired, aggravated and you’ll probably look a bit washed out and pale. Just remember that you should be eating round about 1,200 calories – any less than that, your body will shut down most of its processes. You will lose a fair bit of weight than you would if you ate, but your’re going to have to eat again soon and when you do all the fat just sticks to you like glue and it takes AGES to get rid of it because your metabolism’s busted!
