How Does One Make Ground Chicken From Chicken Breast Meat?

If you need to use the ground chicken for something like meatloaf, where you cook the meat after it is already ground, then it is best to use a meat grinder. If you use a mixer, the meat texture isn’t going to turn out exactly like ground meat, plus it is going to be messy!! But, in a pinch, you can do it by using the “pulse” function to get the texture to your liking. Afterwards, you’ll probably want to soak your processor in bleach water. If you want the ground chicken for something like tacos, where it doesn’t really matter when it gets chopped up, you can just cook the chicken in a little water and then chop it up in your food processor. I do this all the time. It makes great taco filling.
