How Does Organic Make-up Actually Help You Skin?
They certainly do. I use the mineral make-up by ELF and I’ve noticed that it does my face a world of good. Since it’s made of natural minerals, it actually nourishes the skin. I’ve hardly ever had breakouts and my skin glows even without make-up. I rest easy knowing what I put on my face is actually good for it.
Yes, of course it can 🙂 First of all, unlike the regular makeup lines it has no harsh chemicals that would hurt. But there are also many nice organic formulas that utilize the power of nature (natural oils, vitamins, antioxidants, etc…) to treat the skin. The prime example would be products by Dr. Hauschka. But to be fare, when people select organic makeup, they usually do so to avoid harming the skin. When you want repair, you’d be looking into organic skin care — creams, masks, cleansers, etc. Those are full of potent botanical ingredients that target various skin conditions, such as wrinkles, eczema, oiliness, dark circles, etc…
