A The AWD lock button enables a 50% front and 50% rear torque bias at speeds under 18mph. The AWD system is engaged all the time and typically has a 75% front and 25% rear torque bias (lock off). However, the AWD system adjusts the front rear torque bias as necessary anywhere from 100:0 to 50:50. The AWD lock button is intended for those occasions where very low speed 4 wheel drive is required.
