How does the ASDA Birthday Cake work?
Choose photo cake off shelf – comes in two sizes last time i got one they were £8.99 and £11.99 – rectangle shape normal cake sponge and buttercream/jam with white icing. Then go to bakery department with photo of your choice and ask for it to be put on – the person doing it will tell you how it will look (i normally have few photos with me just incase they say it wont come out that good) on the cake. You can choose a boarder to go round too if you want eg happy birthday, congratulations etc. They will take the photo and cake off you and tell you to come back in 15ish minutes. A couple of times there have been no cakes so dont leave it till last minute. I have also had exactly same thing done at Sainsburys.
