The DT800 analog inputs can operate with 11 different levels of amplifier gain. By default the most appropriate amplifier gain is selected automatically. This allows small signals to be amplified for measurement, improving the effective resolution of that measurement. Autoranging can be disabled by using Gain Lock channel options.
