How does the CECP recognize businesses who participate in corporate philanthropy?
CECP recognizes businesses that are committed to the measurement, CEO leadership, and innovation in their corporate giving programs, and to a nonprofit community organization that encourages and facilitates corporate giving through its strategic partnerships and strong working relationships with corporations through the delivery of its annual Excellence in Corporate Philanthropy Awards. CECP’s annual Excellence in Corporate Philanthropy Awards, now extended to two or more corporations and a nonprofit organization, has evolved to a cherished status. All are inspired by last year’s winners–Pfizer, Hasbro, and The Children’s Health Fund–as well as prior award winners. Corporate philanthropy was honored when the New York Stock Exchange recognized the Excellence winners in their Opening Bell Ringing Ceremony on February 23, 2004.
