How does the CXR rating differ from the USCF rating?
The CXR ratings are more sensitive to recent performance than the USCF rating, so your latest successes will have a more noticeable impact on your CXR rating than they would with a USCF rating. The CXR formulas are easier to understand than the USCF system, and once you know how it works, you’ll be able to “guesstimate” your new rating after each game. CXR also keeps numerous statistics for you, including separate stats when you play black and when you play white. But remember, in order for your official rating to change, your games must be reported to CXR.
