How does the deposit work with boats and waverunners?
There is a $50 damage deposit for each waverunner you rent out, while the deposit for boats is $200. Deposits can be done with cash or credit card; we take Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. If you choose to put the deposit on a credit card, it will be run as an authorization and will never actually be charged unless you were to damage the machine. The bank will hold that amount for 3-5 business days after which the authorization will drop off and those funds will be available to you. Note: the deposit is not actually charged to your card, but it will be unavailable for 3-5 business days afterwards. Note: the deposit is waived if you take out a boat with one of our captains.
