How does the domain name change registrants?
Once you strike a deal and the Buyer submits payment, the method used to change the registrant to the buyer depends on whether or not the domain name is currently registered with us. • If the domain name is currently registered with us, you move it from your account to the buyer’s account. — See Moving a Domain Name Out of Your Account for the steps required to initiate the move. • If the domain name is currently registered through a different registrar, you must transfer it to us. — The buyer is responsible for purchasing a domain name transfer to begin the transfer process.
