I can speak of being a Human Resource Manager in a retail environment. I have 130 associates give or take a handful at any given time, and my job is quite demanding in many ways. I work a 55 hour per week schedule, and my days I work vary week to week as well. I do not have a set shift and can be scheduled to start work at any time. We are only closed two days a year, which means I am working most holidays as well as many weekends. The intelligence of the average associate is not very high, and many cannot write very well.
