How does the Esri Nautical Solution handle soundings/bathymetry?
Esri teams with business partners to help refine end-to-end workflow for bathymetry. We are currently engaging in an integration effort to assist with a seamless transition of data into ArcGIS. Nautical Solution does not currently manage raw sounding data; it is assumed that the data coming from the hydrographic survey parties has been postprocessed prior to its arrival in the cartographic department. Esri is actively engaged in research and development to expand capabilities for bathymetric data management, modeling, and product generation.
