How does the GBRMPA enforce zoning?
The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority works with the Australian and Queensland Governments to ensure compliance and protect the Marine Park from illegal activities. Boat and aircraft patrols operate in the Marine Park on a daily basis, checking on activities and monitoring ecological conditions.
