We will evaluate the content of your gold using the karats indicated, which provides the percentage of gold contained in that item. For example 10 kt contains 41.6% and 18 kt contains 75% of gold respectively. We then weigh your gold. Finally, The Gold Edge calculates the value of your items based on the price of gold, silver or platinum as quoted by the stock market each business day (excluding public holidays and weekends).
