How does the House of Representatives decides who is the next president?
Every person’s vote counts exactly the same. Whom the Senators and House Reps vote for is their own business, as is mine. No one knows who they vote for. They vote for President just like everyone else does, at the polls. No one’s vote is more important that the others. Their vote is counted just like everyone else’s. I don’t know where you heard that, but it’s absolutely not true at all. The states you get the electoral votes. But there isn’t anything to do with the senators. Yes, states also vote for senators, but it has nothing to do with whom they vote for president.
