Expect nothing but ease of use when it comes to the Jenny-O Oven Ready turkey. The frozen bird came double packaged in that the outside packaging was made of extremely durable plastic and the bird itself came packaged ready-to-cook in an oven bag fastened shut with a metal clip. Upside: Just open up the external packaging of your Jenny-O Oven Ready turkey and follow the cooking instructions (I put ours in an oblong glass baking dish). No fuss, no muss, and best of all, no touching of poultry. Downside: Because it comes pre-packaged in its oven bag, there’s no chance of placing stuffing in the bird if you like your dressing cooked in the bird. So you can make it in a party dress after all!
