The contributors to TET advance a number of alternative explanations for the relevant data, explanations that often contradict one another. For example, we have some authors who argue that the empty tomb is a legend, whereas other authors accept it as historical and offer competing naturalistic explanations for that fact. It is obvious that not all of these explanations can be true. What is not obvious, however, is how this is supposed to (a) show that all of the explanations in the book are false; (b) show that all of TET’s significant claims are false; or (c), most important, show that Jesus’ resurrection is more probable than not.
