How does the league of nations cause WW2?
There are many nations that were not represented in the League of Nations, among them Germany, Russia, and the United States. Germany was not allowed entrance into the League as a result of the Treaty of Versailles (nor did they most likely want to join after their German national pride was cut down.) Russia was not allowed to join because of the fear of communism that had swept through Western Europe and the United States. The United States did not join because then-president Woodrow Wilson’s “14 Points” concept to prevent another World War was not ratified. Shortly before the start of World War II, Japan left the League of Nations in order to rationalize their planned invasion of China. The League of Nations also was not structured very efficiently, and no notable legislation was passed during its inception.
