How does the method of extracting the metal from its ore depend on the metals reactivity?
Yeah because in extracting the metal from its ore, ideally we would need something with a higher reactivity than the metal. Therefore for the already highly reactive metals it is very hard(and costly) to find and use another reactive metal(which also tends to be costly and rare). That’s why people use electrolysis instead of the normal reduction.
