Highalltimes is right this movie does not promote white supremacist ideas at all, it does quite the opposite it shows how wrong they were in their views, I am not sure how you could see the movie any other way, it’s a pretty straightforward film. To respond to the poster who made the remarks about the inequality in the film, neither murder is actually called a racist or racially driven kill in the film, no one says that the kill at the end is not racist and no one says it is either (I don’t know why you came to the conclusion that one is racist and one is not). They don’t even have time to address the actions of Furlong’s character’s death since the film ends. It’s only made clear that both characters who killed were very wrong in their actions. I actually felt the 2 killings paralleled each other perfectly both were equally wrong, we never got to the see the life of the kid who was stealing the car before he was killed, maybe he was a good kid who made mistakes like Danny was.

That it’s wrong if a White person kills a Black person. But it’s alright if a Black person kills a White person. Don’t get me wrong, the acting was good. But if you’re gonna make an “Anti-Racism” themed movie, at least make things “equal” like for starters make the ending as in finally befriending a Black person or the opposite race, and “live happily ever after”. But if you have an ending about a White kid who’s trying to mend his ways already but alas got shot by a Black kid. You’d create love-hate emotions this way. I mean, so it’s not racist of that Black kid to shot his brother but it’s racist for Ed Norton to curbstomp a BURGLAR who happens to be Blacks? I don’t agree with the plot. It’s just too ironic. But Kudos to Ed Norton though.
