How does the nervous system work?

0

The nervous system communcate to other parts of the body via chemical synapses. Signals which carried electricity travel to and from the brain via neurons. The numbers of excited cells corresponds to the intensity of the signal. For example a strong light signal will excite more neurons in the eye than a weak one. Similarly, a strong signal from the brain would excite more motor cells.
