How does the PI approve the eGC1 online?
The PI can approve their eGC1s in one of TWO ways – 1) Log into the eGC1 with their UW Net Id, go to the Certify-Finalize-Print page and click “finalize”. The application will be approved by the PI and recorded in the History section of eApprovals. 2) The eGC1 is complete and finalized by a non-PI and the online routing process begins. Email notification is sent to the PI. The PI open mail, clicks on the link and logs into SAGE with their UW Net Id. This will take them directly to the Approval Workflow page for the specific eGC1. Click “Approve” and the application will be approved and recorded in the History section.
