How does the previous student data collection (Legacy) differ from the current student data collection (OnSIS)?
The previous Legacy Collections for Student data reports (SIS, MR, CS, PLAR, Enrolment by Postal Code) collected both aggregate and elemental data in separate files. OnSIS integrates the data it collects, at the elemental and aggregate levels using the OEN as the basis for connecting all information. OnSIS will improve accuracy, completeness and timeliness of data collection.
