How does the thread size of GORE™ TENARA® Sewing Thread TR STYLE compare to polyester threads?
GORE™ TENARA® Sewing Thread is made from expanded PTFE; therefore, size designations differ from those used on polyester threads. The following table lists a general comparison of thread size, break strengths, and applications: Note: To order, substitute color code for (XX) in part number listed in the table. In stock and readily available colors: White (WH), Black (BK), Forest Green (FG), Chesapeake Blue (CB), Light Grey (GY) Extended lead times and minimum order quantity colors: Light Blue (LB), Yellow (YW), Orange (RG), Red (RD), Grey (GY) Chocolate Brown (CB). (Note: The fabricator is responsible for determining the correct thread size for the application.)
