How Does the TNT Auto-Trader software work?
Before economic news is released there is always a consensus of what the number is expected to be. An example would be a country’s Trade Balance number. The data itself is not as important as whether or not it falls within market expectations (consensus). If the number comes out way above or below the consensus it creates a “shock” to that country’s currency. Within a couple of seconds of the announcement the price starts moving and can quickly move 50 pips or more. TNT catches this movement and gives you the profits.
