How does the UHH-CoP Alternate List work?
After the interview process is complete an applicant may be offered a letter of acceptance, placed on the alternate list or denied. UH Hilo CoP operates a rolling admissions process and changes are being made to both the candidate pool and the alternate list throughout the admissions cycle. Due to this, applicants are not given a specific rank on the alternate list. The alternate list is kept open and active until after the first day of classes in August at which time all alternates who were not selected for admission will be sent a denial letter via email.
