How does the water cycle affect weather in California?
The water cycle redistributes water from place to place on Earth’s surface. The main processes in the water cycle are evaporation, condensation, and precipitation. These processes create California’s winter rainstorms along the coast and in the valleys and winter snowstorms and blizzards in the mountains.
