How does the Zip Code Verification program protect me?
By entering your zip code into the keypad at the pump (or at the reader inside the convenience store), we check the zip code entered against your billing address of your credit/debit card and ensure a match. If someone else is using your Speedpass device without your permission, and enters an incorrect zip code, the transaction will be denied.
