How does VIPSEAL work when a tyre is punctured?
If a puncture occurs, VIPSEAL covers the penetrating object and seals around its contours. When the penetrating object is ejected or removed, VIPSEAL flows into the hole, due to the capillary attraction of the escaping air. The hole left by the penetrating object is then plugged by VIPSEAL, which coagulates. The coagulated VIPSEAL is non-soluble and protects the inner structure from outside pollutants.
