How does Viral Email Marketing work?
The easiest, most cost effective way to inform your donor pool is to use a viral email campaign. Say your group has 10 members and each member sends out a donation request email to 10 people who, in turn, forward the original request email to 10 people each. That means your group has reached 1,000 potential donors strictly through email. If your group has 50, 100 or more active members, it is easy to see that your potential donation pool can reach an extremely large population of interested donors quickly and without great expense.
