Winke Responds: Tom, I would say that it is a bit too early. I am seeing scrapes now but very few of them are being refreshed often. I would probably start it around Oct. 10 and then start hunting it about Oct. 20, or so. That should give them time to adjust to it and catch the bucks at a time when they are starting to increase their daylight activity levels.
