How else does the MBA assist the medical profession?
The Doctors’ Mental Health Web Site This is a joint initiative between the MBA and the Doctors’ Mental Health Implementation Committee. Its purpose is the creation of a central archive of information related to doctors’ mental health, the cornerstone being the NSW Doctors’ Mental Health Program. This site assists the dissemination of the NSW Doctors’ Mental Health Implementation Committee’s Policy and Strategies to all doctors, medical students and medical administrators. Further goals are the promotion of further research and the provision of information about referral services, such as the MBA and the Doctors’ Health & Advisory Service (DHAS) through the Internet. The 3rd National Doctors’ Health Conference 2003 The MBA contributed a councillor (Dr Gary Galambos) to represent it for the organising committee of the 3rd National Doctors’ Health Conference, which took place in September 2003.
