How expensive is the abortion pill?
First of all, find out if you are pregnant or not. This is the first thing you should have done when you missed your period. A test can cost as little as $5 and then you would be able to proceed by now. If you are pregnant, you will want to schedule an abortion as soon as possible. The procedure only becomes more expensive further in pregnancy. I don’t know how much abortions are in the US, they can range above $500. If you go to a Planned Parenthood you may find some or all of the cost is subsidized or that the procedure can be more affordable than you thought. If you are a Canadian citizen you can get an abortion for free. If you are not a Canadian citizen, you can still get an abortion at a clinic here and it will cost under $100.
