How expensive is the uniform for the academy likely to be and will there be any help for poorer families?
It is not anticipated that the school uniform for the academy will be any more expensive then at any other school in Tamworth and support will be as for any other school. Currently schools receive a small amount of funding in their budget for school clothing. Each school receives funding based on how many pupils they have who are in receipt of free school meals. This applies to secondary age pupils only. Schools are free to administer this funding whichever way they see fit.
