How far ahead can I book space for a big event, annual event or special event where contracts may or may not be needed or speakers may need to be scheduled?
Events that need special consideration for speakers, contracts or other considerations can be done one year out as long as it is not classroom building space being asked for. The larger the event the more time is needed to coordinate and book it. These events may need to go through the Campus Events Planning Committee approval process and take two to four weeks for approval. Allow 6 to 8 weeks or more for planning. Fill out the online Student Life ERF ( Event Referral Form) to register your large event upon confirmation of space on campus.
