How far in advance do I need to plan for a thesis/dissertation defense?
Three weeks before the date you and your committee members have agreed upon for your defense, you must give the Graduate Secretary the following information: date, time, location, committee member names, and title of thesis/dissertation. Failure to notify the Graduate Secretary by the deadline may mean that your final examination must be delayed.
