How far is Pikes Place Market from Safeco Field in Seattle?
Safeco and Pike Place are at opposite ends of downtown. Downtown isn’t that large, but I wouldn’t walk it. Buses are free during the day from one end of downtown to the other. You can catch just about any bus on 4th at Royal Brougham or Jackson or points north (to go north) or catch a bus on 5th (to go south). Going north, get off at Pike or Pine (near Westlake center) and head towards the water to get to Pike Place. Going south, the last stop will be Jackson or Royal Brougham, and you can easily walk to Safeco from there.
