How good is the relationship between DRC and the South African government?
Very good. The South African government is very supportive of what we are doing politically and are assisting where ever possible in getting DRC back on its feet. Have you developed any incentives for potential investors? Yes, we have just drafted a mining code with a lot of built in investment incentives. Looking at the investment schemes and incentives in Africa, I think Tanzanias mining code is the best. We looked at the investment codes of Tanzania, Ghana, and other countries for guidance, and used these as a base for our own. I believe this is just as good, if not better, than any other on the continent at this point. We simplified the administrative procedures required to obtain a mining concession, and have stipulated that concessions granted entitle full rights to that concession.
