How has Tucson’s business community welcomed the Target.com Fulfillment Center?
Before we ended up choosing Tucson and now that we’ve been here we felt like the business community has really opened up and been very welcoming to all of our team here in Tucson. We’ve been very, very happy with the welcome we have received. Both from the TREO organization and from the local community at large we have felt very well supported in the construction and operational phase of this start up. Whether it’s good partnerships, where our TREO partners are coming into the facility, we’re showing them around, what we need. Every time we’ve asked and even times when we haven’t asked they’ve been here to support us. We’ve also had good partnerships from the local community on ensuring we get permits moved through the system as well as possible, to make sure that the construction hit all of our timelines, and to make sure we had the certificate of occupancy, so that was real helpful.
