How have Rex Grossman and Kyle Orton performed so far in training camp?
Both of them are competing extremely hard. It’s good, healthy competition. They’re both very focused, studying hard, preparing hard, working hard and with both of them I see a sense of urgency and a seriousness and a really good focus, yet they’re relaxed. How has having Rex and Kyle alternating with the first unit every day affected the timing on offense? Still in its early stages, the competition between Kyle Orton and Rex Grossman is too close to handicap. I’m sure it does affect the timing a little bit. But they’re both throwing to all the receivers that are going to be playing. They’re getting work and they’re getting timing with that. Obviously at some point we need to settle in and say ‘this is the starter’ and give him ample time to get the rhythm with the starting backs and line and receivers and everything, and that’ll come.
