How high is the steam demand of a VOIGT-Lifter?
It is correct to say steam demand instead of steam consumption, since the working steam remains warming and mass-laterally to the system. For the displacement of 1 m condensate you need 1m of steam. With a supposed back pressure in the condensate pressure line of 2 bar 1.07 kg steam are thus needed for displacing 1 m/h condensate.
