Yes, society does limit the romantic options for the mental challenged. Society is all about taking care of their physical lives but not much on their emotional lives. If you think about it, it is really happening with everyone’s lives. Look at schools, they have taken away any “down” times so children don’t have the opportunity to learn any social skills that help them in the social department later on either. This is why there is so much violence and no one knows how to get along. Back to your question, the mentally challenged are usually known for being simple, honest, and very loving people who, given the opportunity, will stick with each other and be very loyal. It’s society that doesn’t see this as being important.
