How is a speeding violation detected and recorded?
A South Carolina speed certified police officer will be present during the hours of operation. The officer will visually observe the violation and the deployed RADAR unit will capture the speed, the date, time and location of the violator along with a picture of the driver, the license plate and a series of photos of the speeding violation.
