How is a vinyl pool cover different from a polyethylene cover in dealing with a repair patch kit?
Look at your patch kit, it should say if it’s for a vinyl product. If it’s not specifically for vinyl don’t use it, it won’t work properly and it would be a waste of money. If you have a hard time finding a patch kit, go to a pool store or even a boat store, they can point you in the right direction. The reason why is much harder to explain, so I’ll give the short answer, they are different chemical compounds.
