How Is AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ calculated for each activity format?

0

The credit for two of the AMA approved learning formats, live activities and enduring materials, is based on a legitimate estimate of the participation time. The estimate of participation time should be designated in 15 minute, or 0.25 credit, increments, rounded to the nearest quarter hour. The minimum number of credits is 0.25 but there is not a maximum limit to the number of credits that can be designated for live or enduring materials. The credit for the other five of the seven AMA approved learning formats are value-based rather than time-based; these learning formats have a specified number of credits designated for the successful completion of the activity.
